Death of Mrs. Porterfield (Elizabeth Kay Castleman Porterfield)

Yesterday morning Mr. Frank Porterfield, cashier of the Commercial bank, sustained an irreparable loss in the sudden death of his estimable wife at their residence in West Nashville. She was in apparently good health and it is supposed that her death was caused by heart disease. She was generally esteemed and was consistent Christian lady. The funeral will be preached at the First Presbyterian Church this morning at 10 o’clock.
