the Community which had so

and Zealously served.
He
was a Native of Scotland; was
Educated at the University of
Edunburgh, Resided in Nashville
About
Thirty Years; Died May 22,
1833,
in the 64th Year of His Age.
The Citizens of Nashville
have
erected this simple monument.
