All Activities Benefit Cemetery Preservation
The City Cemetery has been an important cemetery for Nashvillians for almost two centuries. The cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its historical and architectural significance.
The Nashville City Cemetery Association was formed in 1998 to work with the Metro Historical Commission and the city of Nashville to protect, preserve and restore the cemetery.
