Living History Tour

The Early Settlers of Nashville

Dear Board members, Board members emeritus, and generous Supporters of the Nashville City Cemetery Association,

Thank you for your support of the Nashville City Cemetery. The Living History Tour is one of the two main fundraising activities that the Cemetery Association sponsors each year to meet our monetary goals for restoring, maintaining, and interpreting the historic Nashville City Cemetery. This year’s Tour will be held

Saturday, October 14 from 3 – 5:30 PM.

This sacred ground at 4th Avenue South and Oak Street is an outdoor museum. So much of the early history of Nashville can be shared by telling the stories of the community leaders and ordinary citizens buried there.

Your support will allow us to offset the costs of this event and dedicate more funds toward our preservation endeavors. Sponsorship levels and benefits include:

· SILVER: $250-$499 Sponsorship in cash and/or goods: Name and/or Logo on the NCCA website, and listed in the event program.

· $500 or greater sponsorship in cash and/or goods: Large Name and Logo on the NCCA website, listed in the event program, included in all advertisements of the LHT.

Please consider becoming a sponsor. We will include your name in the Program to be handed out on October 14th. Please, contact Lynn Maddox, by October 1, 2017, to let her know the sponsorship level.

This year we are inviting Descendants to make donations In Memory Of family members at City Cemetery. Your name and your ancestor’s name will be listed in the LHT program. Please, contact Fletch Coke, to let her know of your Memorial Gift.

Please make your check payable to the NCCA

and mail it to the following address:

Thank you again for your willingness to support our fundraiser. We look forward to working with you in the future and continuing our partnership.

Very Truly Yours,
