Second Saturday Free Walking Tour: Juneteenth, “What does Freedom Mean?”
On June 10, in honor of Juneteenth, Archeologist, and Nashville City Cemetery Board President Zada Law will share stories about some African American people buried in the City Cemetery in a walking tour titled “What does Freedom Mean?” This tour explores the idea of freedom. It asks attendees to interact and think about freedom and societal responsibility and consider what the hope of freedom meant to people who had never experienced it.
