Died at his residence near Nashville on the first day of October, 1836, in the 52nd year of his age, Jno. Hobson. He was a native of Virginia but emigrated to this neighborhood thirty years ago where he has resided ever since. He was a man of the kindest and noblest feelings and enjoyed the good will and good opinion of all who knew him, as a husband, a father, relative and friend, he was affectionate, faithful and sincere and the departure of few amongst us would be more regretted than the subject of this brief notice.
