Two broken column monuments stand side by side
for David Shelby (dates unknown) and for
David Williams, infant died 1836, a grandson of
Dr. John Shelby (1785-1859). This is not the
marker for David Shelby, father of Dr. John
Shelby, who died in 1822 in Sumner Co., Tennessee.
