Anthony Foster was married to Eleanor Beckwith Winn.  She was a daughter of John & Martha Beckwith of Kentucky.  Her sister Martha Beckwith Yeatman, wife of Thomas Yeatman, is buried in the adjacent lot at City Cemetery.

Anthony Foster ID # 280278

Yeatman, Martha ID # 280279

Note:  Eleanor Foster pre-deceased her husband Anthony Foster who died April 8, 1825.  His will, recorded June 8, 1825, in Davidson County, TN., named “my late departed wife Mrs. Eleanor Foster.”  Previous surveys of tombstones at City Cemetery incorrectly listed Eleanor Foster as the wife of Nathan Foster and incorrectly recorded her death date as June 11, 1825.
